Real World Math Problem Solving Task

Maths is all around children at home, at school, in the park, on holiday, everywhere! They just don’t always see it!

This is a task card children can use with playing cards.

The card has a colourful image to work from, starter, main lesson and extension activities and questions.

Each card could be an individual lesson or simply take out sections to compliment your own lessons

This card comes from my larger set of 27 task cards which are perfect for encouraging children’s problem solving, reasoning and communicating skills in mathematics.
